[Previous Bio] I'm alive and well, living in Houston Texas. I've been here since March 1978. Just had to leave the Quad's. Please keep me updated on the 25th reunion. At this time I'm not sure I would be able to attend-my family has a big family reunion on the 4th of July in western Iowa every year, so I normally go there-but it is possible that anything can happen---- A little background on my doings for the last 25 years---Moved to Texas in 1978, was working for Northwestern Bell at the time and took a transfer to Southwestern Bell, worked there until 1980 when I left to go to work for Houston Lighting & Power (WHAT A MISTAKE!!!). Stayed there until March of 1996. On March 1 1996 I accepted a job with Bering Community Service Foundation (BCSF). At first I was doing grant writing and fund raising. BCSF is on organization dedicated to service the community needs of people infected and affected with HIV & AIDS. It has been the most rewarding experience that I have had. It means a lot to me to be able to help people. At current I'm Assistant Director of the Financial Assistance Program. It is a program that helps PWA's (People with AIDS) to pay their rent, mortgage and utility bills. We are funded by the Federal Government out of Ryan White funds. You can see more about BSCF and our programs on the web site---www.bering.org. Ms Wymore---why did you have to bring that little BI**H up - I have finally put her out of my mind until you brought her up!!!!---the one teacher that I do remember and admire the most was Sue Decker---from middle school, if I remember right She taught English & Social Studies in 7th grade-she was the one who gave me the push to be able to be myself. Other teachers from High School that I do remember and wonder what has happened to them are Dave Welch (English), Herb Seitz (Government) and Barry Moskowitz (English). If you know anything let me know. I am curious about everyone we went to high school with---to see what they are up to and to see How many of them have turned into COWS! You know what I mean by that one, I hope. As much as I hate to ask this one, how many are not among us anymore. [April 2003] I'll be on vacation from 5/31 - 6/14, so there is no way I can make it this time. I lost my partner of 16 years last January to a massive heat stroke. He was only 47. My life has been turned upside down since, but things are getting better, slowly but surely. Just taking it a day at a time. I will be in Davenport over July 5-6-7, and hopes to see some people then.
